Hi, I’m Defne — an independent jewelry maker based in Istanbul, Türkiye. Alongside jewelry, I create ceramics, decorative objects, and accessories such as bags and charms. Every piece you see here is one of a kind, handmade with love, and shaped with care.

 

A lot of my inspiration comes from nature and its symbolism. I aim to capture nature’s beauty as wearable talismans, carrying quiet meanings and personal stories.​ I also love to create objects that make you smile — pieces that bring a touch of playfulness and joy into everyday life. Whether it’s a whimsical charm, a colorful ceramic, or a decorative accent, I enjoy exploring how art and design can brighten spaces and moods.

 

I believe that objects can hold emotion and significance beyond their form. Through my work, I hope to create small treasures that connect people to both the poetry and the playfulness of the world.
